The Lotus Learning Management System is a fully integrated, secure, industry-compliant learning management platform, allowing customers to deliver online courses, schedule classrooms, perform student assessments, manage student enrollment activities, and create courseware.

Within the Lotus Learning Management System, powerful new tools enable Training and Human Resources Managers to establish curriculums, administer certification programs, track and report on learning activities, and manage scheduling, notifications and alerts to keep students updated on class activities. Key Features
	Configurability. The product's flexibility enables a customer to configure the system in different ways, as needed. Smaller companies can set up a simple configuration with one or two Delivery Servers, while larger corporations can expand the configuration at will, adding Delivery servers and optionally plugging in collaborative products.

	Disconnected Use. Students can work on courses off-line by downloading them to their Windows workstation and accessing them via the Off-line Learning Client. Upon reconnecting to the network, the student can upload tracking information to the system
	Authoring tool. Allows instructors and subject matter experts to create their own courseware that can be tracked, scored and used in customized learning plans. Courses created with other tools (i.e. Macromedia) can also be imported into the system.
	Web services support. The system is portal-ready and includes out-of-the-box portlets, supporting web services and employee self-service.
	Multiple audiences and international customers support. Designed to deliver a single back-end system that supports multiple groups, the product can be configured to show different views of the course catalog, different user interfaces, and different "look and feel" based on user profiles, such as geography and job code. It is currently available in 15 languages.
	Built-in Reporting Tool. The system's reporting capabilities track student activities, resource utilization, and other metrics. It includes powerful features for report distribution, off-time scheduling and publishing to standard formats such as PDF.
	Multiple environments support. The product's open architecture supports a variety of platforms, including Windows 2000, Sun Solaris, Linux, and IBM AIX, and databases such as DB2, Oracle and MS SQL Server.
