In the section on Our Approach and Methodology, we have detailed out the way we approach any implementation project. In general, we have a structured core methodology which has been formulated based on best practices to always ensure the best value to our clients.

As part of our organisation and project implementation structure, we have a dedicated business team to carry out the business process requirements studies which do not merely rely on the technical team. This will ensure that the essence of how a client's business works is properly understood from the actual business point of view and not just from the technical viewpoint. It is in this initial stage of any e-business project implementation whereby the seeds of failure will be sowed if the business objectives are not properly understood. It is in Cyber Village's core philosophy that many e-business as well as IT projects have failed largely because of a technical team's poor understanding of the client's business requirements.

As most users of IT applications are business users, the distinction between a business viewpoint and a technical viewpoint becomes an important consideration that Cyber Village has realised early on and addressed.

Our team of e-business managers are responsible for project management and also to a certain extent for the sales of the company, rather than having a separate distinct sales team for this purpose. This creates a desirable 'check-and-balance' approach to what we can offer our clients. By making the project managers responsible for the sales, these managers will ensure that they will only sell exactly what they can deliver to the clients. By having separate sales team, which is often engaged by our competitors, it often results in over-selling and under-budgeting for the scope of the project. In addition, our core business is in a in-depth knowledge related field, and often require strong foundations in e-business technology and experience which only the e-business managers will possess.

Upon successfully implementing a project, we do not just leave the client with their new application. We have a dedicated technical support team to provide clients with the necessary support and maintenance to help them with the application. Our team believes in providing superior customer service with quick response and short turn around times to enhance customer satisfaction levels.
